Facilities at PSCC

Labs

Science Laboratories are also functioning in the campus like Physics, Chemistry and Bio. These are equipped with modern apparatus. Chinese, Arabic Language Labs, Computer Lab and Library are also functioning.

Library

The College Library contains over 4000 books on a variety of subjects, it also receives a good supply of local and foreign periodicals and magazines to keep he Cadets abreast with the current affairs, Besides, it keeps a fair size of video collection, Regular library classes are an essential part of the curriculum.

Horse Riding Club

Pakistan Scouts Cadet College have also a Horse Riding Club in the supervision of trained instructors Scout Cadets learn Horse Riding, Show Jumping, High Jump, Trot, Gallop, Tend Pegging and Vaulting. Riding Club provide thrill of outdoor life and develop a spirit of adventure in the Scout Cadets.

Hospital

The college has a hospital managed by a qualified doctor and assisted by trained nursing staff from the Army Medical Corps. The scout cadets are also entitled for medical treatment at the Combined Military Hospital, Abbottabad and DHQ Mansehra. In case a cadet is to be operated upon, effort is made to inform the parents/guardians.

Houses

The college has eight residential hostels which are named Houses. On admission, the scout cadets are alloted different houses. Every House is under the control of a resident House Master, an Assistant House Master and Cadet appointments, who supervise, conduct and guide the scout cadets’ activities.

Academic Blocks

The College from the start has aimed to excel in the academic field. All the teachers over the years have worked very hard in this regard. Everything like the quarterly programme and daily routine have been very systematically planned.

Clubs

Many clubs and societies provide the requisite co-curricular grooming of the Cadets. Similarly the Hiking, Shooting, Archery, Mountaineering, Riding, Health and Scouting Clubs provide thrill of outdoor life and develop a spirit of adventure in the Scout Cadets.

Mosque

The College established a mosque (Masjid) in the campus. The College Mosque is the center of all religious activities. It has the capacity to accommodate about 1500 Namazies at a time. Besides the daily 5 times prayers, Jumma Prayers, Travih Prayers in Ramadan and Eid Prayers are also offered in this beautiful mosque.
